Sorry I've been away so long...but I went from a messy divorce to a mom with cancer (by the way, she's completely cured) to a major shift in my life (for the better).

I met a man who is everything I ever thought I couldn't get, but I now have. Hopefully, if everything goes well, we'll spend the next eighty years with each other. Needless to say, I'm happier than I've been in over 35 years. I haven't been on because for me it's hard to write when I have so many conflicting emotions in my head. I would try to write a poem and end up writing pieces of ten different poems, and none of them sounded right. But now things have calmed down a lot, so I can focus on what I truly love (family, boyfriend, and of course, writing).

I hope to be posting as soon as I can sit down and write anything that isn't five different poems in one...and as soon as I can lasso my daughter into helping me format it.

But as it stands...life is wonderful, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, but if my luck stands as it always has been...I will get sunburned, the birds will crap on me, and...well, the rest I don't want to think about.
